Thank you Ann….she needs a brushing, but that waited until the next morning!! I love her so much! She is never out of my site, ever! Cougar killed the neighbor’s goat today, just across the street. A big cat…I was shocked!! You never know where they are!

Very scary…I couldn’t believe it came so close…lots of big dogs around too! They were barking like crazy and when I looked again the conservation officers were throwing the cougar and the goat in the back of their truck!! First one I saw since we moved here, in 16 years!!

Yes, they did kill it!! Elementary school not that far from here, the terrain is thick forest here which makes it very difficult to trap them. The neighbor’s went away and left the goat in the garden by itself and another neighbor went to feed it and saw the cougar feasting on it! Scary..I didn’t even know they had a goat!!

Yes, it is Ann! I was shocked…it happened so fast! Poor thing…but it’s better that it was a goat and not a child. I guess the goat was a familiar sound to the cougar and dragged the cougar to it. First time in sixteen years that I have known a cougar come right into the town, and right across the street. Baby and I was outside in the garden, I was planting some flowers when all this went down.

Powerful creatures, cougars and very beautiful. I don’t know what the neighbors were thinking, to leave a goat tied up in the backyard while they went away.

Thank you for your very kind words, EC! The most beautiful breed of dog, in character & beauty! I love my little 3lber, she will be 3 years old this month. I treasure every moment since I got her. There is a beautiful story in the way I got her too! She was to be my dog sent to me from the angels up above.
