We also saved his life, apparently the conservation officer came and rescued him, yesterday after I left work. I can’t believe how calm he was with us for 2 days. I stood about only 10 feet away from him. In all the pictures I took of him, he don’t look scared at all.

Yes, I was very lucky, lucky he couldn’t fly away, but no worries, he’s in good hands now! He was rescued, with a little help from his friends. :)

This little fellow couldn’t fly away, he was at my workplace for 2 days didn’t get off the ground. We called the conservation officer to come and get him. Unbelieveable, I came within 3-4 feet from him. I shot maybe 60-70 pictures of him in the 2 days. He just stayed around in one area, didn’t seem like he was hurt, just couldn’t fly! Someone was telling me that if they gorge themselves it takes awhile before they can fly, he must have had a scoff! :) A friend went and sat with him on the lowest branch where he was perched, talked to him and gently put a bag over him, then the friend just handed him over to the conservation officer. It was amazing!!!

Thank you very much Cherilyn for liking him, he was at the dock for 2 days, couldn’t fly away!! Conservation officer came a picked him up, I have many different angles of this fellow! I passed right by him, maybe 3-4 feet away! He was very calm and knew I wasn’t going to arm him! :))
