Married with two teen age kids. Work part-time as a Charity Administrator. Mad about photography since a kid and interested in all sorts of things related to the arts (music, poetry, writing, 3d graphics etc). Worked in the past as a freelance photographer for a magazine (nursing), private clients and generally pursued photography just for the love of it.

Moved over from film to digital a few years ago, though still scanning thousands of slides from my film days. Guess ’ll be doing that until my dying day!

Although I own a modest bridge camera (Fujifilm 602z) I have used borrowed Nikons a bit and my daughter now has a Nikon D3100. I am impressed with the camera though the kit lens is somewhat soft. Video is HD and very impressive.
