The late Neville Newman spent much of his life in Cambridge and later years in Norfolk.
A talented photographer, and collector of Leica cameras, he had his own darkroom and processed all his own work.
He and his wife were our neighbours and close family friends whilst I was growing up in Cambridge and he was a great encouragement and inspiration toward my own youthful photographic attempts.
I was honoured when his wife passed his negative collection to me and over a period of time will scan and post many here and elsewhere online.
Nev’ passed away on Christmas Day, 2010, aged 89 years and I know that if he had been born a generation later he would have very much enjoyed Red Bubble. It is a pleasure, therefore, to offer some of his images here as cards or prints etc.
