I’m sure you’ll get many conflicting opinions on this kenny… I personally prefer the coloured version though it was a hard pick and then I had to keep switching back and forth to glean the reason. It’s something to do with her eyes. I like the darker, shadowed, more mysterious look here in preference to the brighter b/w eyes, and there’s something about her mouth which is softer in this one. She seems to come more inviting and more alive in these lovely warm tones. cheers! carol

  • Ahh… Carol! I can always trust that you will give me what I ask for! Your critique is most helpful and I can see what you are describing! I also had allot of trouble determining which one I like best and you are right.. there are things here that attracts better then the other but then again there are things in the b/w that is also.. But I can see how this is more inviting then the other! Thank you very much for your input! :)

Is it just me, or is the bw more detailed? When i look at that one, my eye keeps moving around. And this one….maybe because of the lovely tones and colours….is softer for me. I enjoy the overall impact.
Maybe something to do with psychology even….hmmm…. This is what i call a dilemma!!! You got us all troubled with choosing. I dunno. I love both to bits. Well done, hun!!!

  • HEYY! Well.. yes.. I was also troubled choosing between the two so I thought it might help to hear everyone’s opinion! Your right about the b/w one, it is more clearer and it’s because of hdr rendering.. So perhaps the softer photo is more pleasing to the eye! Thanks for you input dear!

Netmonk as a Psychiatrist of many years I can honestly say that most will prefer the Colour………Black and white to most people is Stark and Cold…Unfeeling……. and whilst good for many Photographs..for the Human Body Colour is always good……..unless you wish to portray…Anger…Suffering…..pain………dispair…….hope this helps…..

  • Well. it’s soo great to hear your point of view on this topic! So far your prediction is right on the money because of the views, faves, and comment’s do point colour as the winner! Thank you very much your your input and I do really appreciated it! ~Kenny :)
