Mr. 1900's by netmonk

Currently unavailable for purchase

►The look of the 1900’s or maybe the mid to late 1800’s. Actually I don’t take many self portraits but had to show my face sometime…LOL….

►The inspiration behind this piece is “Time Travel” I always wanted to go back in time just to experience the world as it was and devour all the history first hand. It would be interesting to see it and witness history with my very own eyes! {:o)

►Self portrait edited by yours truly. :)

►I believe I used my older Canon camera(xti) on this photo anyhow it was taken on a cool rainy day this spring 2009.

►Note that the noise was intentionally added to the image and so was the wide screen cropping just to get the feel of old cinema.

Very well done! Love the sepia tones NM. Your eyes speak volumes.

  • Thank you T. I pondered awhile between black&white and sepia and as you can see sepia won the vote! I appreciate your comment! :)

Great Self Portrait! Nice treatment .. love the sepia tones :)

  • Ohh I’m really glad you like this!! I did take me awhile to choose between black and white or sepia, I was most satisfy with sepia as you can see because somehow it went better as an aged look. :)
