The Forth Bridges
I’m hoping this angle is a little different from the norm. Please let me know if indeed I am wrong.
The Forth Bridge is a cantilever railway bridge over the Firth of Forth in the east of Scotland, to the east of the Forth Road Bridge, and 14 km (9 miles) west of central Edinburgh. It is often called the “Forth Rail Bridge” to distinguish it from the Forth Road Bridge. The bridge connects Scotland’s capital Edinburgh with the Kingdom of Fife, and acts as a major artery connecting the north-east and south-east of the country.
The Forth Road Bridge is a suspension bridge in east central Scotland. The bridge, built in 1964, spans the Firth of Forth, connecting the capital city Edinburgh at South Queensferry to Fife at North Queensferry. The bridge replaced a centuries-old ferry service to carry vehicular traffic, cyclists, and pedestrians across the Forth; rail crossings are made by the adjacent and historic Forth Bridge.

excellent composition and colours Andy, this side is not photographed so much. You are now in the realms of “Charlie Waite” who in his photographic TV series photographed the bridge from a rock just passed where I assume you were standing. I like your image better than his anyway….
Andrew Ness replied
oh wow what a comment, thanks very much.
Denis Molodkin
well done shot
Andrew Ness replied
Cheers Denis for the comment and thanks for checking out this photo.

A great shot of the bridges Andrew.
I often go to that spot to take pictures because you can see both bridges from this angle. As you know, I have a similar view although mine is a little closser to the bridge and a bit darker than your great shot.
Andrew Ness replied
Cheers tomg…...I didn’t realised there was that track down to the pier their and to the back of the Dalmeny Estate. I know where I’ll be when the white plastic is removed from the bridge :)
Mayina

You can follow the path all the way to Crammond. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to ride your bike. At the end of the path, there used to be a ferryman who would row you over the Almond into Crammond for a small fee, but he does not do it now.

Excellent shot Andrew. Great perspective.
Andrew Ness replied
Thanks Gary…..and cheers for checking out my portfolio and providing feedback. Much appreciated.
