Getting Old

Getting Old? i’m Exempt,
for Ticking Time I have Contempt.
Kronos Never will Catch me,
from his Grip, I shall Flee.
My Days i’ll Spend Pursuing Fun,
Stay Forever, Twenty-One.

A Lustrum Later, I remain,
My Looks have yet begun to Wane.
Not a line Corrupts this Face,
All is in it’s Perfect Place.
Perhaps I shall Retain my Youth,
and not Succumb to Age uncouth.

A Decade more and it’s Downhill,
i’m looking older than I feel.
what’s all this? I was thin!
Stretch marks now Besmirch my Skin.
So Ashamed, so Appalled,
to find myself going Bald.

Made a Bargain Yesterday,
Sold my Soul like Dorian Gray.
Across the World I would Sail,
searching for That Holy Grail.
Or Tincture of the Alchemist,
these things i’d do to Resist.

For loss of Prime I have Wept,
it’s just so Hard to Accept.
I am old, I am weathered,
soon my Lifeline shall be Severed.
The Saddest Part, or so it seems,
is i’m still Young in my Dreams.

Maybe I should avoid those wicked mirrors ;)
Dorian Gray had no issue with mirrors, he sold his soul so his portrait would age and not him, the picture essentially reflected the damage he did to his soul.

as science believes, age is a disease, like any diseasem if you know how, it can be cured…
while finding the Grail may be that, the tincture of the Alchemist is not a fountain of youth except that you remain looking the age but the health and energy is restored, the looks we can leave to the doctors to fix….and, worse, even if one found the fountain of youth, or eternal life in the flesh, unless you share it with someone, it would become a lonely existence watching others, particularly ones you have gotten close to, die around you?
However, there are benefits, too…to learn from mistakes, to accumulate wealth, but to do it anonymously is not easy, but you must, to benefit the community without drawing attention to yourself, to gaining knowledge otherwise not having the time previously. The point being to be worthwhile to the world…Wealth is nothing if only being greedy. Selfishness would, should have been left behind long ago….

A perfect example of this, is a picture of Dorian Gray, someone who remained young on the outisde but corrupted himself to the depths of depravity, I don’t know if I was given the choice i’d probably accept longevity, would be nice to remain young forever, and we can always make new friends (cold I know lol) Monotomic Gold is the way to go, I believe that restrics the aging process, but that remains to be seen, and true aswell, wealth can not be taken with us, irrespective of how tightly we cling unto it. What you’ve said sort of reminds me of that Biblical quote about gaining the world, but losing your soul in the process, I guess not all beauty is superficial after all, although it does resonate exceedingly well from your photography :)-

depravity can be in many ways…..but, selfish depravity will catch up with you….
share the wealth, share health, share love…they key is sharing which is the single-most point of being alive…sharing ourselves, sharing our art, our thoughts, our company in quality ways…sharing peace…..
I intend some time to write a treatise on the beautry of the female both physical and otherwise, while the female form draws us to it, not just males alone, and not just for only sexual reasons—- and the female soul can be the savior of us all, if she can come out from under the twisted mindsets put upon her, by men and herself….
I don’t just photograph them, I try to exalt them, although many would see it as objectifying or stereotyping the cliches…I don’t see it that way at all regardless of what some may think

Personally I believe the female form is there to celebrated, and in that sense you exceed all expectations, it takes true genius to draw the line between style and smut, everything you do is exceptionally tasteful, and after reading a thesis you penned on the Alchemical prosess, I have every confidence that a manifesto exalting the Feminine form, will be nothing short of amazing, I for one am an avid fan of your awesome photography.
