Oaths were sworn around the table,
Lords of old protect this land.
Vows of Honour and of Duty,
Palms of Glory held to hand.
Knights would fight for Justice Freely,
not for greed or Fleeting cash.
They wore Gold encrusted helmets,
around their waist a purple sash.
They possessed a Wizard ancient.
versed in rituals, strange and old.
Perform he did forbidden Magick,
He made lead turn into gold.
When at war, they battled Bravely,
in defence they held their ground.
Skilled they were in stealthy combat,
besting foes without a sound.
Though their purpose was not violence,
danced they did with Maidens fair.
Drunk their wine from golden goblets,
feasted well without a care.
Noble knights who fought with Virtue,
Down were Tyrants towns thus laid.
Chose they did their battles wisely,
swords unsheathed towards crusade.

I like the word, but it doesn’t apply to me. Mozart, Lennon, Blake were Genius’s. I’m just someone who enjoys writing poetry.
