This Castle is situated in Paphos Cyprus, and although I only photographed the interior of it ,it does have a Frankish Tower, within a Venetian wall
that was built in 1222 AD ,and it was restored again in 1592 AD by the Ottoman Empire. In 1800
the British took it over ,and in their wisdom used it as a salt store until 1935 , eventually was handed back to their rightful owners ,that is the Cypriot people ,and is one of the many tourist attractions on the county of Paphos .The day I took this image ,those two kids ,were wondering around with their parents ,and somehow the images of the film ’ Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom ’ kept flashing in my mind, and with the help of photoshop, and select colouring ,this is my (Temple) Castle ,and you are WELCOMED any time..!!

Ah I’ve been there, and I don’t remember it being quite this magical! Very evocative Neo!

  • Well..Georgie you see, I’m a native and they put a special show for me,apart from that I have a Hot line with my local ancestry, which consist of a couple of… Angels.. a small deformed witch…and that’s how I create a magical environment ,if all that fails I just call the ..Blues Brothers to bring the Photoshop .! Now Georgie you do believe all that ..don’t you..I woul’d lie to you…and say hallo to OZ for me ..cheers.!
