This clever magpie wasn’t letting any water go to waste, waiting for each drop from the tap.

Thanks for stopping by, Porask!
Thiis bird is the Cuautehmoc, the last hooded crow who was king of the birds.
He certainly thinks so!
no problem that picture is so cool
great capture..he didn’t miss anything and neither did you. well done.
Hallo menirma; a wonderful image. did the drop realy fall or did you PS it in? Whichever way, it is a truly wonderful shot…Bert
Of, it definitely fell of its own accord, Bert! I couldn’t believe this magpie was standing there waiting for drops of water – so funny watching him wait… and wait… and wait. I was very lucky to catch the drop as I did.
fantastic shot! poor thing,so thirsty….
Thanks, Mary Helen! It was certainly enterprising of him. Why fly around in the summer heat looking for water when humans have left a tap dripping?!
lovely capture Nemirna.
My book has a picture of a hooded crow part of the book is about this bird resurrected from a human and how he saves the world from alien tyranny.
Cool. Interesting. Though this is an Australian magpie, which isn’t in the crow family (even if he looks like one).
