Who needs a microwave when your wife can stand over the hearth for hours turning the spit roast?! ;-) Though I suppose a few other modern appliances could come in handy….
It would depend on the wife. If she can cook and will take good care of you (and will take care of your home while you go out taking photos), then a wife’s better than a microwave; but if she can’t cook, she’ll probably spend all your money and you won’t be able to afford either! ;-)
oh wow. This is so great at showing how amazing the sun can be at softening any hard rough situation. Outstanding. Please consider putting this in the group Yellow Two.

What beautiful work you do! This picture is enchanting, the golden light on rough-hewn stone is otherworldy.

Thanks, Natalie! I adore stone, and almost obsessed with the way light falls. Glad you like it.
