Out of the Blue

A collaboration with my father who took the photo under my direction (via mobile ‘phone) while I was at the helm of this lovely brig in Storm Bay, Tasmania. Some days, this scene appears entirely blue, and that day I really felt I was sailing on the ‘deep blue sea’. (Minimal editing – just a crop and adjustment of contrast.)

    Thanks, Susan! It’s funny how all these blue things have been standing out at me since the ‘truly blue’ challenge was announced. LOL

    Thanks, Hilary! The ship is the Lady Nelson, and she belongs to the people of Tasmania. Her home port is Hobart, so we see quite a bit of her in these waters.
