I think this is my fave out of your 3 latest … gorgeous colours and such a beautiful scene! Lovely!
nemirna in reply to Sarah Pett-Noble’s comment, 5 months ago
Thanks for that, Sarah! I was actually thinking this was perhaps the least worthy of putting on RedBubble, so it’s very reassuring that you like it so much.
Sarah Pett-Noble, 5 months ago
Oh I couldn’t imagine anything you create as being unworthy of Redbubble. I think its the beautiful colours that attract me so much. (PS Its only 6am and I am Redbubbling – addicted or what?)

Beautiful capture, glorious vista, wonderful colours.

Beutiful layers of colour, great shot Nemirna..

Let me guess… your little one gets you up before the crack of dawn? My daughter (who’s eleven months old) has been getting me up before six the last week – she hasn’t adjusted her “clock” yet! – and I’ve been RedBubbling early too.

Thanks, Hilary! This is the view from my parents’ house, so I tend to take it for granted. It’s nice to have others get excited about it because it renews my appreciation too.

Thanks, Jason! I get pretty blasé about the Australian greens, to be honest – I rather miss the deep greens of the UK – so I’m glad you like it.

I know the feeling! awww, 11 months, that’s a nice age, isn’t it. Milo has been waking several times for a feed in the night, he’s just started weaning.

An amazing image. I’m not sure whether it is a landscape or a seacape – but it is amazing. Your colour and contrast are extremely vivid – I must find out about the HDR photography as it gives a surreal effect to a realistic scene. I hadn’t heard of it before joining redbubble.
nemirna in reply to PommieGranite’s comment, 5 months ago
Thanks! I can’t work out whether it’s a landscape or seascape either! LOL I hadn’t heard of HDR until the photographer at my sister-in-law’s wedding mentioned it. Used in the right situations, it is just wonderful as it doesn’t manipulate the image but rather gives you more of it. I can recommend Photomatix, and if you also do a web search for a voucher you’ll probably be able to get a discount.

This is a truly amazing image. So clear and vibrant…love the colours.

Thanks, Liliana! Australian eucalypts have an amazing range of green in their leaves.

I can see why you would want to take shots of this view Nemirna, spectacular sky and lovely colour.
nemirna in reply to Jason Connolly’s comment, 5 months ago
Thanks, Jason! Some days, you can watch the weather roll in all the way from Antarctica, so it’s a great spot to just sit and wait for a photo.
