I took my son to the library today and took my camera along with me. I was grateful to spot the magnolia tree in full bloom outside of our small local history museum. Despite my son’s impatience, I found a few moments to study the flowers and appreciate their beautiful aroma.
I grew up with a magnolia tree in my front yard, but I don’t know that I ever looked at it this closely. What I saw inside was unexpected and delightful, a dream come true for my macro lens and me.
