Philippine Crocodiles used to be found all over the Philippines, but now they are only found on a few islands. There may be fewer than 200 left in the wild.

*These small, shy crocodiles usually live alone only coming together for mating. They grow to no more than 3 metres long and females are slightly smaller than males. They are a freshwater species of crocodile.*Philippine Crocodiles are listed as critically endangered on the IUCN Red List.*Taken at Chester Zoo – 11/7/11 with a FujiFinepix S2750
