Nejakarto Gallery

Nejakarto Gallery is located in the thriving Loddon Murray region in the state of Victoria, Australia and is 3 hours’ drive from the state capital, Melbourne. The major regional centres of Bendigo, Echuca and Swan Hill are only around 1 hour away by road.

The gallery is focused on showcasing the wonderfui & whacky artistic talents of our local and regional artists.

While the bright yellow walls are covered in art there is also a range of exciting smaller items like cards and uniquely handcrafted wares that will make the perfect “arty” gift for someone special.

EXHIBITIONS
Within the region Kerang has a widely diverse array of uniquely divine visual artists including painters, sculptors, printmakers and photographers.

Nejakarto Gallery is pleased to be able to feature regular changing exhibitions every 4 – 6 weeks, that will showcase individual artists or a group of artists from the region.

COMMUNITY STUDIO
We love to support our local artists and one way we are able to do this is to provide a studio space where our artists can work. It is also a place for people to come and relax, chat and experience the “Joi de vie” of the gallery.

The studio is also home to a local group Kerang Artist’s Kollective who meet and work in the space each Saturday fortnight.

SCULPTURE GARDEN
Part of the ongoing evolution of Nejakarto Gallery will be the opening of the sculpture garden in the rear courtyard. This distinctive outdoor gallery space will highlight the work of a diverse bunch of sculptors from the local and regional areas
