Sheep in the snow , hill side farm painting in Watercoloours, using W&N artists tube paints on Saunders Waterford 140lb NOT paper .
Masking fluid flicked on first for the falling snow effect, then removed on the final stage.

    Thank you for telling us how you created the falling snow. It is effective. A cold. cold scene. I like the glow on the snow. It sets a feeling of time of day.

    this is wonderful work Neil.. you know your job so well.. just one look at this superbly minimal work and one is convinced that you have tremendous control over the moody medium.. this is top class water color work.. the soft lit sky presents a fine backdrop to this cool scape.. the gray is wonderful.. congratulation..

    Classic!! How did you achieve those whites? by masking fluid or painting whites?
