    Congratulations not the biggest fan of HDR, but this has brought out the atmosphere of Stonehenge that a flat colour shot most often lacks

    So what is the difference between a tonemapped HDR and a raw image processed in Lightroom to bring out the detail (by extending the Dynamic range from the raw)?

    lol that is the fine line with HDR, when it becomes more artificial looking, almost cartoon like, as I am sure you have also seen so many examples of, that they lose they realism. This images stays on the realistic side of bringing depth but not at the cost of the subject. Hope that made sense lol
