The ancient Cathedral in Winchester, U.K. was built during Norman times. This is (apparently) a Norman Arch, above the Choir stalls.Kings and Queens of England have been married & buried here since before the Norman Conquest of 1066
arch, cathedral, church, gothic, inside, norman, winchester, winchester cathedral
nice shot would fit the heritage and trust group
Fascinating perspective, reminds me of drawings by M.C. Escher. Thanks for the fine take on this one.
Thanks. This part of the building has all sorts of odd angles.
Nice composition, very evocative of the style of architecture !
