Keegan Wong
Breath taking. Wow.
Craig Goldsmith
Love it, the bright yellow the tree (IMHO in just the right spot) and the great layers of clouds.
Christine Beswick
Beautifully dramatic yet simple.
DarrellMoseley
What an amazing capture, it is good work. Mother nature is stunning here! It pulls me in, under the shade of the tree.
snurfdood
cheered me up on what is quite an autumnal day here – love the contrast of the field against the sky :o)
J.K. York
wow, increadible landscape. the solid saffron yellow against that beautiful sky is wonderful, but to have that lonely tree on the horizon is brilliant. well done.
velveteagle

Crokus Label
Wow… stunning color contrasts… and I love this tree standing with all its strength surrounded by beauty.
lonebearimages
It is the lone tree and the sky that truly carry the day here, IMHO. The yellow canola field is a wonderful contrapuntal to the blue of the sky, but the tree adds mystery, an almost surrealistic addition. Superb composition and exposure (nice use of the grad here too?). Excellent capture, Neil. Cheers! Chris

Is canola the same as what we call “rapeseed”? Well, I just googled it and found out that it is a special species of it.
The shot is very beautiful! Just love it. It reminds me of the north of Germany! Here in Holland we have only very few rapeseed areas. Yes, in spring they are ever so beautiful, though they turn into a rather less beautiful brownish colour in summer.
A fav is a mut, the watch an additional boon. If you do not mind it.
Daniel Rarela
whoa… totallly unreal, this is! seems like such a rare thing to find one single tree in a field of yellow underneath a sky with just the right amount of clouds… you’ve captured something very rare and beautiful here, Neil! wonderful stuff!
Julie Thomas

Love this image and its outstanding colour combinations of blue, white and yellow with the tree as the bonus feature. Saw a similar stunning vista of canola and trees with sun and thunder clouds near Cowra one time, but no camera on hand.
