Phantasma Mortis Death Death of imagination .
This is one of my favorite images. As a high school art teacher, I see less and less students who have creative ideas. I can’t help but think if the students read more books, and watched less television they would develop their creativity and imagination.

So sad the students are becoming less and less creative, and I agree, reading is so under rated………..Love the clarity of the books in this one, another surreal image, love your work………..

both with the lament of lost imagination
and with the brilliance of the image!

I was so happy when JKRowling came out with her Harry Potter & retained the control of the movies & merchandise – the kids love the movies but actually still prefer the books! THAT is PERFECT!

But we have become a handout society both the 3rd generation of tax funded handouts and the same for the rich
and they all have a contempt for dealing with themselves –
I have a problem YOU have to fix it!
I’m bored YOU have to entertain me!
I want the latest YOU have to give me it!
Gawd knows what sort of problem solving will happen in the next 30 years when these kids come into power!
Look at what the 60’s flower power hippys are doing to us!
Dare I say affluence breeds contempt?
and necessity is the force of all invention
Kids today do not need to think – there are computers to do it for them!
as my great gran said – “Its all fair and well to have these newfangled machines, but who’s the idiot to push the button?”
Hang in there – it will come back …. one day!
Challenge with questions get their curiosity annoyed!
    Chookas! ♥
