Low tide

I was at Disney world’s Animal Kingdom, admiring the perfection of the artificial natural environment they created. I began to wonder what it would look like if all nature was maintained the same way, as I pondered this I created Low Tide to capture the idea of fusing the natural and man made world.

This image was created using 2 popular 3D software programs. Vue and Poser. The image was made up with multiple renders and assembled in Photoshop. The image contains over 100 individually posed figures and took 6 months to complete.

Yay! I’ve followed your progress in the creation of this image on the Daz3d forum. Your patience not only with the construction of the image but with the help and encouragement you offered others along the way does you credit as a teacher. Your imagination and dedication to the details does you credit as an artist. Congratulations on getting the image not only finished but available to those who’d like it. You are a credit to the community :)

Fantastic, and so generous to show the construction methods as the image was built. So many people are secretive about how they put their 3D CG images together, it’s great to see someone who gives their secrets away so freely. Pity people can’t copy the talent as easily as the technique…

I followed this thread as well on Daz, though never actually commented until tonight-I must say that re-reading the entire thread gave me more information and tips than following it? Perhaps because I was too interested in looking at what you’ve done than how you’ve accomplished it. :) This is one heck of a poster, and a fantastic idea! Congrats on finishing it, as well as the quality of the work you’ve put into it!

My poster arrived yesterday and was exceedingly well packaged, the quality is suberb. The size of the poster was bigger than I’d anticpated yet it retains all the clarity of the original image. I’m left mightily pleased with you Neelz, for the image itself and for making it available, with redbubble for an exceptional service and finally with myself for taking the plunge and purchasing my first piece of real art
