Picture Australia provides access to images that cover all aspects of Australiana. It is Australia’s richest online pictorial resource.
Picture Australia includes images from galleries, museums, archives and libraries across Australia and overseas.
The primary role of Picture Australia is to increase public access to Australian image collections and to build collaborative relationships with other Australian collecting institutions. The service is hosted by the National Library of Australia (NLA) . In accord with this role all Picture Australia products are sold at revenue neutral rates.
