I’m a Sydney-based artist. I’ve always wanted to paint, but it took me ages to get around to it. I guess I was busy putting all my passion and energy into music and writing. I started painting in 2006. I entered a couple of joint exhibitions (2011 – 2013) managing and installing showings of my art at cafes and venues around Sydney.
I have also been providing props for events.
I call my art “Nebulart” because I’m a bit obsessed with space-themes and surreal underwater worlds! I also love the patterns in nature… especially the coastal areas and the Australian bush. I’ve been trying my hand at landscapes and sketching portraits, some of them are in this gallery, but i definitely need more practice!
Getting Started and then what?:
I have managed to continue on my path of art-discovery-adventures mainly because of my friends support and encouragement!
If anyone would like to choose pics for a theme for a calendar send me a message and I’ll tailor-make one for you. If you wish to check out my physical (non-digital) art works please email email@example.com to arrange an appointment. Currently I have a number of original framed abstract paintings. When i have time I’m working on themes around buildings, on canvas and creating sculptures, which are 3D multi coloured ‘characters’.
The categories/links here are not very sorted! i never seem to get around to fixing it! I forget how to do it then i have to re-learn it.
For my first exhibition held at Sydney Children’s Hospital 2012, I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to showcase 53 of my original paintings (lovingly and cleverly custom-framed, thank you Paul at Modern Framing! modernframing.com.au. That series was not planned as such, it was a collection of work that was a healing and nourishing, inspired labour of love through some very hard times. The exhibition was well received and I sold 10 paintings! The feedback has been that people enjoyed getting as nicely lost in my pictures, as much as I enjoyed painting them!

Red Bubble has been a great place to share my art, and meet other artists, their feedback has been invaluable. Big shout out to all the friendly folks here who have been so helpful and answered my annoying questions over the last few years : } and the RB crew! Having a place/space online to show people my work has been an amazing resource in the wider sense. :)
