GRAPHITE PENCIL ON DRAWING PAPER

8 X 13

I hope I did her justice. Leonardo was so amazing.
the scan squeezed the image slightly. the original was more perfectly centered and proportioned so I had to leave her sideways to see the actual dimensions of the scan. I also added sepia to the scan to give it the old world look.

You can learn alot by “communing” with the masters. Even when I see original work from centuries past behind thick pane of glass in some museum it really looks like it could have been done just yesterday. Your studies are a little one dimensional but I can see your sense of form developing just in this drawing alone. I hope you keep drawing! Looking forward to seeing your evolution. :)

thanks Kieth , i just put up another type of my style of drawings( i have a background in mechanical drawing and drafting)that come from my head. it is a work in light , shadows and reflection . this is what i like most because of using geometrics and angles of objects in a mirror and hinting on correct proportion of angles of sunlight on the floor. the wood grain floor is my secret touch as well ,give me a blistering on this one. let me know.
