I am a G.R.I.T.S, Louisiana born and grown artist/teacher. I guess you could call me a loner, but I am constantly fighting it. Sometimes my personality likes to get in the way. I think I am smarter than I act… and I love the fact that doesn’t make much sense.
By the time I am 50, I want to be “that” woman that travels around the world, volunteers time and expertise to the local community, wears flip-flops and cotton dresses on a daily basis, with braids and flowers in her hair, and spends a majority of her time in her art supply shop and painting studio. I want to set myself as a regular face wherever I live. Hopefully I will learn how to remember names better in the future… which is integral to being a “personable” person.
I am unusually attracted to sin (thank you Tori Amos for an awesome statement): gluttony, lust, sloth and envy are my favorites right now. One of these days I will break the laziness… I’ll start working on it tomorrow.
