Fly
I saw the whites in this picture and decided to tackle the challenge, and was pleased with the results. Have you got someone who could use a card with a fly on it? Wanna tell someone to buzz off? Then this would be a perfect way to send your regards.

Wow, I thought this was a photo from a distance, now I see I was wrong! So is it a secret how you do this? Surely you haven’t generated the brush strokes digitally?

I use ArtRage 2 to paint hte pictures MB- I then touch up with Corel PhotoPaint to complete the paintings as hotoPaint has some features that ArtRage doesn’t. I use a mouse, but you really need a Wacom Tablet with a stylus for better control- but it’s still doable with a mouse- just a bit harder lol. These are all hand painted- You can see progress of a painting over on www.sacredscoop.com – it was a Christian news site, but I’ve switched the concept to painting site, and I’ve uploaded some of my works there- one showing how my painting developed.

Thanks Antanas- I really like how ArtRage 2 brushes and pallette knife work. Working with Impasto in other programs like Corel Painter just don’t have the same feel to it as ArtRage does in my opinion. Had a lot of fun doing this painting- not the best of subjects, but then again, I lean towards painting the not so traditional subjects- they just don’t sell so well, but oh well- I enjoy them lol
