Eternally Continued...

Moonlight streaming through the trees,
Her jet black hair, flowing in the breeze.
He sees her beauty
(Inside and out)
“You’re stronger than I, I truly doubt!”
“You can not change what I see to be true.”
She is ready for his challenge
(Looks deep into his eyes)
She knows what to do.

He is stunned, taken back!
For he is not sure of what she has done.
Instinct takes over
(He starts to run)
She follows, high above the ground.
Angelic wings beating without a sound.
“You can run, but you can not hide.”
“Remember, I feel what you feel inside.”

“STOP for a minute, reach down deep,”
“Listen to your heart!”
(He begins to weep)
“Embrace me sweet angel, you are right!”
“I need you more with each passing night.”
Falling to his knees, he looks straight into her face.
“I am in love with your honesty, beauty and your grace.”
She takes his tear stained face in her hands,
Humbled, he finally understands.}
Heart expands ~
He slowly leans toward her,
Gently, passionately a kiss.
“You have proven true love,”
“How could I resist.”
” I have been a fool to try and lie,”
” Deceiving only myself as I slowly die.”
(She looks at him) ”
For you my sweet, are not a fool.”
” People and life have been unfair and cruel.”
(She takes his hands)
“You have passed the test, earned your wings.”
” Changed your way of thinking and the way you look at things.”
He hesitantly extends his wings out wide.
” I couldn’t be me, without you at my side.”
He turns to her, now HE knows what to do,
(Embraces her)
