A tribute to Rob
Rob was my fiance’ 18 years ago …. he battled cancer and we were soulmates even being so young … he killed himself when his cancer came back . I carry him with me and always have , I know he is with me and has help to guild me through life. He swore to never leave me and I feel him all the time :)

You promised forever
All these years I thought you left
Your presence I could not feel
Losing you I could not except
All my emotions you did steal
Why did you go without a word
Leaving me spinning
The world to me absurd
Life just wasn’t worth living
Today I visit your grave
Tears falling from my eyes
You sent me an angel to save
To show the truth expose the lies
You loved me enough to let me go
Even though it was your life that was sold
You loved me enough to stay with me to show
That life is a lesson to share and be told
You surround me now
A smile spreads across my face
Your spirit will help to show me how
To live this life with honor and grace
