Lost in my life
Not sure what to do
Are these tears for me
or for you
I can’t seem to fit in
Find my groove
Spent 35 years trying to prove
That I am good enough to those who thought not
That I didn’t deserve all the pain I got
Not sure what is right
Should I give in or continue to fight?
The days are so long
The nights I can’t sleep
I put on a smile yet my eyes continue to weep
A moment of joy wiggles in here and there
My heart on my sleeve to show that I care
Confused as to which path to take
All about me or living for others sake
Can’t focus on the tasks at hand
Seems like I just sit, yet here I stand
Lost
Sometimes I just am not sure what my purpose is here on Earth… want so badly to make good contributions to life and the people around me ,,, hence my poetry and photos …. but sometimes just not sure I am good enough in every aspect.

We all have those moments of wondering where we fit in and are we good enough. You are perfect as you, did you know that? Your path lies ahead of you but it may bend and you cannot see around the corner yet. Trust and believe, Celena, that there are wonderful things waiting for you around that corner. I love how you share with us how you are feeling and it is that very thing .. the sharing that you do .. that will see you through .. to around the corner and to the end of your journey.

I know you have issues with God Siss, but I was where you are and got to where I am because of my belief.
When you are lost like this you must seek the source of your purpose over and above yourself I believe.
That you possess emotive qualities and the ability to reason, fell and think tells you that something had to have instilled them within you.

i’ve also come to believe that i chose this life, even though i don’t remember doing so on a conscious level….and if i chose it, then it’s gonna be alright, no matter how hard it seems to be at times… it’s exactly what i need to grow and evolve!
