This mornings Lunar Eclipse. It began at around 4.30 am AEST and by 5.20 the moon was completerly in the Earth’s shadow. By the time the moon set is was no longer visible on the east coast. It is the longest Lunar Eclipse in a decate. At first I took exposures at roughtly 5 minutes apart and then as the eclipse progressed I did them at about two minutes. The skies over Tin Can Bay, Queensland. Taken with my Canon EOS 5D
Mark11 and 400mm lens
