Another angle of the Flag Iris- taken straight above after a heavy rainfall yesterday- but these are so strong and upright they never Flag- regardless of their name! From my garden!

    So very well taken Pauline. In fact I love it. Ours are starting to push through now so it won’t be all that long before they are adding colour to our garden. The snowdrops are about to burst into flower any day now and we also have Salvias, pansies and petunias doing well with cornflowers about to start. Then, before we know it, the freesias will be heralding spring, in all it’s glory!

    Very beautiful image Pauline. This is such a lovely shade of blue. Most irises I have seen are darker than this. So lovely with the rain drops on it.
