I think I hate you Pauline even if your pics are lovely – OK I don’t mean that really. Actually its stopped raining and there are little patches of blue at last.

I saw a sparrow hawk take down a pigeon over my head a few years ago but sadly only had a little digicam with me but got quite a few gory images of it tearing the prey apart, if only I’d had my DSLR and a longer lens, but the memories linger.

Only yesterday I was mesmerized by a bee buzzing around collecting pollen on it’s hind legs and wished I’d had my camera, this is incredible photography.. well done! :)

Pauline I have never seen a bee with a fur coat before, you do have strange bees in England.
The detail in this picture is absolutely magnificent, I think you were supposed to miss the goings on around you to get this shot.
