A Sign Of The Times
This is the old Village Police House in Sturminster Marshall-Dorset- now used as someones home- the days when many of us had a Bobby using his home as a mini station right among the locals, the days they knew everyone and all that was going on- and had the respect of adults and children alike – and we wonder why we keep hearing those immortal words-’those were the days’!

Looks as though they have taken away the blue light and replaced it with an ordinary one. I used to have a call at the village shop in Sturminster Marshall as well as most of the beautiful little Dorset villages. In my mind now I can see all those lovely thatched cottages with their green lawns leading down to the lane and the gardens full of roses etc. Peter
