Neil, this may sound dumb, but how do you tell a male from a female?
Lovely shot!!!
Hi Gerry
Thank you for asking, it made me investigate closer. Generally Males have no black markings to the top of the last 3 segments, so I thought Male. However, on closer inspection of this image and others of this individual I can see it has a small spike on segment 8 and female anal appendages. So on reflection I would say its female. :-).
Thanks again for asking
Regards
Neil
