Just my “kit” lens this time, John…it got used the most during my trip to “New Scotland”...the 18-135 short zoom. In time, I’d like to add a true wide angle lens to my bag!

What a wonderful photo Nancy, some may think it symetric with the lighthouse in middle ground but i think it is one of those photos where the rule of thirds doesn`t matter.. I think it is an excellent composition with the foreground exceptional leading to the lighthouse and the exposure is perfect.

Thank you for your considered and constructive comment, Terry! I’m so glad you like it. I’m usually pretty careful to offset something as obvious as the lighthouse, but in this case, as you said, it works as is.
