Artist's Description

“The aim of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life.” ~William Faulkner

Background image in an original painting done on pottery 30 some years ago, my attempt at some folk art designs on unfinished pottery I had spun (my Bloopers). Inspired by a move deep into the countryside where the deer roamed through the yard freely.
Composed in Photoshop with layers, effects, and filters.
Texture courtesy of Lenabem-Anna
