“Monday: Wash Day
Tuesday: Ironing Day
Wednesday: Sewing Day
Thursday: Market Day
Friday: Cleaning Day
Saturday: Baking Day
Sunday: Day of Rest”
~Unknown
Original image photographed at Mountain Moon Emporium, Grahmsville New York. This was a vintage tin type advertising sign for Ivory Soap, built into a fine old medicine cabinet for sale at this shop.
Image was cropped and cleaned up, repairing age and wear spots on the old sign. Color restoration was done to enhance the one time brilliance of the sign. Layers, adjustments, blending modes, and minor filters used, prepared in Photoshop.

Priceless! Timeless! But I thought every day was sewing day.
It is for some, and never for others…like me who cannot use a sew machine…but then I hate doing wash as well!
