“We do not see nature with our eyes, but with our understandings and our hearts.”
~William Hazlitt

This Peregrine Falcon came for breakfast this morning, perching atop the feed pole just waiting for his food to fly in! No casualties, but he hung around for a few hours hoping the small songbirds would return. Timing is essential with this falcon of high speed. Eventually he perched on the roof for a wider view of the area.

Every so often, one chickadee or finch would fly in to see if the coast was clear, when the falcon again swooped, the bird flew back I am sure to tell the others danger lurked! The feeder trays remained empty most of the day, with even the squirrels remaining in hiding!
The original photo was not good quality, therefore I layered this image and used DAP to make enhancements.

Composed in Photoshop.
