Come away, O human child!
To the waters and the wild
With a faery hand in hand,
For the world’s more full of weeping
than you can understand.
~William Butler Yeats, “The Stolen Child”

Ice Maiden Fairy painted in Twisted Brush. Painting inspired by a new book I received as a gift…step by step instructions for building Fairies! (My fiend must have thought the elderly needed all the help they could get…so appreciated the gift was in all sincerity!) Wings and raven courtesy of “jinxmim” of DeviantArt, textures courtesy of “Eddie VanW”, winter background my photograph. Composed and adjusted through layers in Photoshop.

This is such a creative work Pamela, your work is wasted on RB you could do much more with it, another poem comes to mind,

    Where dips the rocky highland
Of Sleuth Wood in the lake,
    There lies a leafy island
    Where flapping herons wake
    The drowsy water-rats;
There we’ve hid out faery vats,
    Full of berries
    And the reddest stolen cherries.
    Come away, O human child!
To the waters and the wild
With a faery hand in hand,
For the world’s more full of weeping than you can understand.
    Yeats.
