“Beyond the dancing fairies wings
Sleeps power beyond compare;
A ring to charge the mystic gate-
Step through it if you dare!” ~B E Maxwell

Red trillium surrounding the forest marshland gates, a most mystical and magical area where one can expect the unexpected. The trillium has struggled hard through the past weeks of heavy rains, but alas, the floor of the earth was in full bloom today. Photographed in Steam Hollow, New York, USA.

“Sing like no one’s listening,
love like you’ve never been hurt,
dance like nobody’s watching,
and live like its heaven on earth.”

    good girl, I FOUND a patch of white ones this past Sunday, but had too squeeze between barbwire fence to get the shots, they are not too good, so thanks for sharing these special beauties with us..hugs linmarie

  • Thanks much, I had a ball playing in the forest garden with these most magical flowers! Hard to walk there were so many, the rains had beat them badly so gently used twigs to prop them up for photos!
