This land was seized from the Native Americans in 1696. Jonathan Westbrook, an English officer, built the original portion of this home in 1700. It was purchased in 1924 by the Marshall family, whom throughout the years it remains.

    What a unique old stone house, what is on the edge of the roof – Solar panels?

  • No solar panels on this place! They are copper flashing to keep ice dams from building on the edges! The small windows upstairs were relevant for look out windows so no large overhangs or porches were built on these revolutionary homes.
