oh, how fabulous she is,, grand, and astute.. I want too go up in the wife tower,, bet can see forever,, many names for it, widows tower, watch tower, on and on,, would be curious what they call that now in the realty books,,what a wonderful capture girl,, wow,, peace and love linmarie
Thanks much, I am not sure what they would call it on a house as such, usually a widows walk is merely an open outside “Cat walk” This is closed so I don’t know.

Wouldn’t it be fun to stay there? Great shot. I’ll call it a cupola!
I would love to venture in and sleep in the cupola, seems there may be a fireplace up there!
How unusual, very nice building and lovely colours thoughout!!
Thanks so much!
Great shot Pamela, very unusual shape for a house !!! ☺♥
There are many reproductions here today, but this is one of only 8 originals for that era.
A lovely and unique building, my sister lives in a wooden one like this.
It is unusual for the era! Thanks much!
Awesome shot!! Reminds me of Colonial Williamsburge.
So charming, a lovely capture.
Thank you Lorraine!
Great capture and wonderful B&B!Peter.
What a great building! I remember an octagonal house from my childhood, nothing as grand as this one, but I found the whole idea fascinating!
I lived in an Victorian apartment when younger … in the octagon part that was the original. It was fascinating!
