We launched leggings! Step into a world of individuality.

There was an old intriguing stone schoolhouse in Margretsville, New York, USA, one which echoed of days gone by. Behind the old schoolhouse, was once a most beautiful covered bridge which the town took down “Just because they could” the gentleman mowing the lawn told me.
I was allowed to photograph the outside and discovered a broken window pane, enough to put the lens of the camera thorough. Much to my amazement this is how one of the images downloaded appeared. No images were taken of the wooded area where the bridge once stood, so tell me how did this happen? One single shot, no layering, no fancy effects, simple cropping and color adjustments only!

“Sing like no one’s listening,
love like you’ve never been hurt,
dance like nobody’s watching,
and live like its heaven on earth.”

However it happened, the result is amazingly beautiful, lush, and I think speaks to the sacredness of memory, of a time that exists in us all when it was like this inside of us. This is an utterly marvellous photograph, Pamela!!!

  • Thanks much Paul, I really fell in love with this!

Great capture and a difficult photo to get right, with the reflections of the trees on the broken glass and the semi dark room.
Had to look twice and read the comment to appreciate the image. The fragmented glass reflection add an unreal, ghost like feel to the picture.

  • Thanks so much Peter, an interesting place!
