Styrofoam relief print
Rice paper
2011

This print was created from objects found during my walk on Sept. 27, 2011 in Saranac Lake, New York. The objects were; diamond plate (something that fell off a car), a metal strip from a bottle cap (shaped as bird’s head), white plastic broken oval, round black lid, and flattened fork. I made marks with the fork, I don’t usually make marks. The rest of the objects were pressed into the styrofoam plate as I usually do.
I posted the print to Facebook asking for a title. I ended up combining 3 of the 15 suggested titles.

Rich colors, shadow, natural light, warmth, feelings, improvisation, sense of place, coastal Georgia and Lake Champlain, closeups, unusual perspectives and angles, fresh.
