Artist's Description

On a stormy day i went to the ocean to take some photographs. To me this is the best time to head out to the sea. I’m standing by our light house we have here in Cape Elizabeth Maine at Fort Willliams. In front of our light house stands a huge rock formation. In 1886 Annie C. Maguire shipwrecked on Christmas Eve. When i took the photo of the waves crashing upon the rock i was exhilarated with what i had captured. If you look to the top left you’ll clearly see an image of a face formed from the splash of the wave hitting the rock. Also if you look to the lower right where you see part of the rock you’ll also see the image of the “Man on the Mountain” To me this is an amazing photograph and i feel something is being said. Never in my years of taking photos have i ever seen anything like this before. To me the weather today with remain to be a natural wonder. And what we capture in a photograph can be a pleasant reward to the human eye and to the photographer.
