I have spent the better part of my adult life traveling the world searching for adventure and making photographs. The world is full of the marvelous. Nature is my inspiration. Enjoy!

It is quite wonderful viewing your images with birds I will never see! What a beauty this is!
Thanks so much!
I agree with Pamela,…..what a lovely close up of a Kurrichane Thrush, which until seeing this shot, I didn’t even know existed! The lighting so perfectly accents the pretty orange breast feathers! :)
Thanks so much for your kind words! Birds are continually amazing to me, the incredible variety of colors, shapes, sizes, and behaviors!
Stunningly beautiful :O)
2 Day 2011/05/29Awesome!
Such a beautiful little bird – that’s for sharing, because I will probably never see one of these for myself!
Thanks so much for your comment… and you are very welcome! The natural world is so full of unexpected surprises! Glad you enjoyed this one!
You take such beautiful crisp, clear photos! Not an unattractive subject by any means, but not exactly awe-inspiring, but the quality of the image makes it a great photo. Well done
Many thanks, Chris, for the kind words! As much as I love photographing the spectacular and beautiful wildlife of our world, I love the challenge of trying to capture the subtle beauty of the common and obscure!
