Great shot Bruce. I was always so…I dunno, unsure about taking photos of people when i was travelling. I regret it because i love these types of images (not saying i can take a decent portrait image unfortunately). I think i will try to take more images of the people next time I go travelling. Malawi, despite its poverty is a pretty nice country, especially around the lake.
Many thanks Chris! People photography is always a fine line. I always try to ask permission and usually people are very obliging! Other times the camera can be a huge barrier and so it stays in the backpack and the memories are captured only in my mind! I do love Malawi, the people were so welcoming everywhere I traveled!
