Perito Moreno Glacier is one of the most spectacular features of Patagonia, a land filled with dramatic natural wonders. Perito Moreno is the worlds third largest reserve of fresh water. It is one of the few advancing glaciers remaining in the world. The ice pack rises from the surface of Lago Argentino (Lake Argentine) an average of 240 feet (74 meters). The total ice depth is 558 feet (170 meters).
